Nvidia used Computex 2026 in Taipei to unveil its new RTX Spark superchip, aimed at squeezing workstation-level power into mini-PCs and compact laptops.

Built for local AI

RTX Spark pairs an Arm-based CPU chiplet with a Blackwell GPU chiplet, linked by a high-speed interconnect. Nvidia claims the combination delivers up to one petaflop of AI performance and can run models with up to 120 billion parameters locally — work that previously needed dedicated servers.

Gaming is part of the pitch too

Beyond AI workloads, Nvidia says RTX Spark can push AAA games above 100 frames per second at 1440p and supports up to 128GB of unified memory shared between the CPU and GPU. The first mini-PCs and laptops built around the chip, made by various Nvidia partners, are due starting fall 2026.
