Halo: Campaign Evolved is out now — and for the first time, on PS5 too

Halo: Campaign Evolved officially launched on July 28, 2026, with a simultaneous global release across every platform at 8 AM Pacific Time.

The standout detail of this launch is the platform list: for the first time in the franchise's history, a Halo campaign is available on PlayStation 5, alongside Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and the Windows Store, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Xbox Play Anywhere. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers can play it as part of their subscription from the moment of the global launch.

Early access for Premium buyers

Players who bought the Premium Edition were already able to jump in on July 23, five days ahead of the general release. The game rebuilds the original Halo campaign with updated graphics and gameplay, as the series keeps expanding its reach beyond the Xbox ecosystem.
