Ubisoft has released Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, the remake of the 2013 pirate classic, available since July 9, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

A classic rebuilt from the ground up

This is a faithful recreation of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, rebuilt on the latest version of Ubisoft's Anvil engine. The studio promises visuals well beyond the original, gameplay updated to the series' current standards, and new content for anyone who already sailed the Caribbean as Edward Kenway more than a decade ago.

A simultaneous worldwide launch

On consoles, the game unlocked at midnight local time in each region, while the PC version launched simultaneously worldwide at 2 PM UTC on July 9.
